You know the feeling after a kickass workout. You know how you feel after keeping your fruits and veggies in check. You know your potential. Grasp it! The joy in achieving that far outweighs the frustration in doing nothing about it. Chase it! Catch it! Be your own hero!

What an amazing MYB April this has been! SO many of you aprilACTIONers are already hitting your 20 workouts! Rock on! For those just a few workouts away, you CAN DO it! You’ve got today and tomorrow to give it everything you’ve got! Right now you could hit the ground and bust out some pushups and situps, go out for a super quick run, hit the gym for a power weighlifting session or swap those dinner plans for a yoga class + dinner. Take a walk with a friend in the spring weather. Walk home from where you are now instead of taking the subway. Whatever it is, you CAN do it. If your mind wants to, your body will follow. HIT YOUR GOAL! You’re ALMOST THERE!!

MOTIVATION: stay positive.
I mean, you can get gnarly with it and just be pissed all the time. Most of us have plenty of ammunition behind that train if we so choose. But if tough shit in life is already driving you down, why join that pity party? You might stop by every once in a while, that’s normal and to be expected. But it’s in those very worst of times when you need that positive, sun-is-shining, look-on-the-bright-side, there’s-gotta-be-a-silver-lining-in-there-somewhere kind of outlook more than ever. Cheesy never hurt nobody. Bitterness on the other hand…
Stay positive. Because being negative is too easy.

MOTIVATION: goals & getting there.
We focus so much on what we’re not and what we wish we were.
Instead, focus on the journey and not so much the potential of the destination.
Focus on the everyday workouts that make you better and stronger with every rep, step and drip of sweat. Focus on the everyday choices of what we put into our bodies or how much sleep we get. It all counts. It all adds up. Our successes are in the little everyday goals. Not in one giant general big picture goal. Get specific and you’ll get there.
